Default More questions on"Dino-Lite DigitalMicroscope

(page two/"Dino-Lite microscope" questions) As my 1990's Sony Super-VHS Camcorder did 'all the work I could see on it's eyepiece viewer', I knew when I had good recording(right up to oil-immerrsion objective). To really be good video for a school classroom showing, I could even(as I keep narrating the observations and related thoughts) keep video running as I physically detach camcorder from its tripod over scope,THEN FILM THE MICROSCOPE WITH THE WETMOUNT JUST VIDEOWED,PICK UP THE WETMOUNT SLIDE,MACROSCOPICALLY FILM IT/ADD SPECIMENS FROM ANOTHER 'CULTURE' ,all as I keep narrating. It livens up the showing to chase the pet cat out of the work bench area area, or some other 'macroscopic farce'. Can I use a "microscope" over my bench microscope? Please offer opinion on this. For USA $40.00, I just bought a 'memory stick reader' to USB import digital camera images into this computer,I will TRY and photo my VHS setup, then 'get it into this computer', then share with you all.I've already shared 'classroom project ideas ' with Miguel on use of videomicrography. Please comment on this"Dino-Lite" use with my bench trinocular scope. thanx

I have been loking for the Dino-Lite on the net.

It really seems a very interesting tool for teaching at classroom, for playing, or for anyone who need looking on opaque objects up to x150 (which is very nice).

For recording from the microscope I change the eyepiece with an CCD eyepiece, but it's less interesting that de Dino-Lite.

I really don't know if it could record from a microscope eyepiece, the minimum magnification seems to be x10, so I suppose that it wouldn't work, but I'm not sure.

Greetings! :-)
Miguel Angel.

Hello, a good web-link where I noted 'the Dino-Lite Digital Microscope' is: MoHawk Medical Mall.com. This site has a gallery of color images taken with this device. As I said earlier posting, my circa 1992 Sony Super VHS Camcorder works by simply haveing it positioned over the trinocular eyepiece..looking through the camcorders eyepiece..'what you see is what you get', but this is not still images, can't be shared on internet...???did circa 1992 Camcorders have computer USB cable port??? Obviously I have homework to do before posting 'my ignorance' in this forum. charlie guevara

This circa camcorder records everything on a tape, and it has a video output that you can connect to a screen. am I right? :-)

If it's that, what you could get is a video recorder for PC, and connect it to the video camera output. So you could record your videos to digital in your computer. And then share them using youtube, and posting them here :-)

Anyway, there could be other cheaper solutions.
