Hello all( and shout out to Miguel for his:"You-Tube protozoan videos/wirem4n), happy and healthy new year. For years I've placed my large(1992 vintage!) Sony Super VHS camcorder(these words 'date me'!) above the trinocular head of one of my microscopes...with manual focus setting turned on,with approx. 2.0cm clearance to not touch trinocular eyepiece...I can focus manually to fill the video image field to over 98%..light level adjust either automatic or manual..works FINE. But this MONSTER HEAVY LOAD above my precious scope (The Camcorder's tripod holds it over the trinocular eyepiece...the camcorder sound microphone allows excellent narration/dictation..music if you like!), dosen't give me piece of mind! To store/archive/share these observation sessions very impracticle/very cumbersome. NOW MY QUESTION TO ALL< MY REQUEST FOR OPINION< FOR COMMENTS: MoHawk Medical Mall.com offers:"Dino-Lite Digital Microscope" for USA dollars:$185.00, 640x480pixels,continuos mag:10-100x,sensor:1/4" color CMOS,frame rate:"up to 30frames/sec.",requires:Intel PentiumIII 1G MHZ or faster,256MB RAM, 16bit color display monitor,Windows98SE/MS/200/XP...I know my computer easily can handle this...WILL THERE BE 'FLICKER' ?
