Default sample preparation for entire oraganismes

Hello, I'd like to know if is it possible to embbed an entire organisme in agarose and observe it entirely on a transmitted light microscope or on a CLS microscope.

That depends...perhaps not a clear (sorry for the pun) answer, but it does depend on the organism. Elephant? Tree? Probably not. Crustacean? Worm? Maybe.

I don't know about agarose, but I would suggest you pick your organism, then research the clearing and whole mounting issues.
