Hi everyone,
Can enyone tell me where I can find information on Fred Enoch's mounting methods. I tried an internet search but turned up very little, probably my poor computing skills. Thank you all in advance. Peter. |

Looks like Fred spelled his last name as Enock.

Hi Karlssoni,
Thanks for the alternate spelling of Enock. I tried the link you posted however after over an hour nothing had downloaded so I assume this sight requires internet facilities beyound mine, I will have to try something different. Thanks again. Peter |

Peter,
I tried posting the text of the Enock method, but it's too long for the forum software. Give me your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you directly. John

Hi,
Sorry John you probably wont see images from me soon. I haven’t found a cost effective way to mount the digital camera on the microscope, and I am busy on other things. Also some insects are not so easy to find this time of year, but we'll see how we go. Peter. |

I hear you on the time issue!
I haven't looked into it myself (time!), but if you poke around here, I think you will find that some have found simple ways to attach their digital cameras.

Hi Peter,
It may be as simple as holding the objective lens of the camera against the eyepiece of the microscope. There are many styles of camera design and some work while others do not. If you go to the '200 year old bed bug' in the photo section of the forum you will see an example of a point and shoot camera held over the eyepiece of an old microscope. Sometimes these little cameras can give surprisingly good results. Regards, g2b2
