Hi all,

I want to start looking at fungi and protists mainly. Im a biology student in the Netherlands and Im wondering what kind of microscope isnt too expensive and good for my purpose.

I ve found a microscope which I could buy for approx. 100 dollars

-Olympus EC
-Monoculair
-Cross table
-Condensor, Abbe n.A 1.25
-also a mirror

-oculairs: 7x H and 10x P

-Objectives: 4x,10x,40x,100x achromatic

What do you guys think about it?

Also I want to make pictures of what I found and determine it afterwards, can I just make pictures with my digital camera through my oculair.. or do I need one of this very expensive USB-oculairs. If so, which one is affordable?
