I have a NIKON ALPHAPHOT YS MICROSCOPE. I bought it used and love it. I was thinking of changing out the 100x objective as I never use it. My problem is I look at objectives for sale and I don’t know if they will fit.

I know I need a 160 so I have part of what I need. I’m confused about the mount. A supplier pointed me to some they sell but they list the thread as “15mm”. Another person told me I just have to look for “160 TL” and still another told me any 160 objective with a RMS mount will work.

I also don’t know how to tell what should be better other then I assume “plan” is good and of course I know many of the brand names from my camera days
