Hi,

I have ran across a very unique item, which I have been unable to properly identify. The item is about 30mm in length and about 2 microns in diameter. It appears to be a synthetic fiber of some type, but the unique and complex design is been difficult to identify, mainly due to it's size, as in small compared to it's design.

I don't believe it is a organic hair, due to it's complex nature, as you can see from the picture. Any insight or help properly identifying would be very welcome.

The Top pictures is at 100X, the Middle picture is at 40X and the last picture is at 400X.
