Good morning,
You don't mention your age or experience and both of these things have a bearing on the microscope you may purchase. Microscopes are instruments that must meet many optical and mechanical standards and just because the microscope is advertised with many features it does not mean that it is a good microscope. I would suggest you start by doing some reading. When you an idea of some of the basics mechanics of microscopy then more specific questions will arise that can be discussed. As for ebay, I think you have to be pretty well educated about what you are looking for. I see many microscopes that are advertised as something they are not by a seller that says "I don't know much about this, but it works..." As new questions arise be sure to post them. g2b2
