Two halogen illuminators

One point i would like to make about the microscope is that there is a slight problem with the ilumination intensity control knob, in that there are some flat points where the illuminators wont work, maximum and minimum illumination work fine, but the points in between need some fine adjustments of the control to get the desired light setting.
It may be that the contacts on the rotary variable resistor may just need cleaned.
But the illuminators Do Work.
