I didn't want to "spam" directly to the list about the creation of this forum because I thought somebody could think I was trying to substitute someone, really far from my intention:

I'm a begginer to microscopy, and I'm really far from the people on the list. In the other hand I'm have a lot of experience developing other forums in the internet, so I thought this could be a way of enhancing (or creating) a community.

Really, thank you very much for your support, and whatever you think that could be interesting for the forum, please tell it to me, I'll try to do my best.

Best of luck with this new forum. It's a hectic time of year right now, but after the holidays I hope people will dust off their scopes (and perhaps unpack their new ones!) and participate. I suspect there are more "lurkers" than "posters" at the one or two established forums I visit. Perhaps with a group that is just getting started more will be willing to jump in.
