Dear all,
We have an old Hitachi SEM ( S-2500) with a polaroid back attachment. The polaroid films have been discontinued and we are looking for a cheap way to be able to capture images. Has any one tried attaching a normal digital camera to a SEM? Didi you have good results? What type of camera do you recommend? Thank you in advance, Virginia |

Hi ajo,
from other forums I have been tod that it is possible to use a digital SLR, as long as it has a bulb function ( so you can open the shutter forever, as the scans are very long). Some say I might need some lenses so I can capture the whole screen. I f we try this I will post my results. Virginia |

If you are still looking for some pics taken contact Robert Hester at r.hester@semicro.org. He is out of the country until after Sept. 5, 2001. There are over 30 units in service so maybe someone else could post some. The latest version is 14MP.

There is a shortage of SEM images here and they are always great to see.
