Default Spring '09 comeing!

Hello all, think about starting a home indoor or outdoors MICRCOSM, this spring time. Best to collect/transport/and start a microcosm this time of year...before 'dog days' heat stresses transported specimens.

All you need is cheap air-pump(sold in aquarium stores, cheapest by mail cattalouge purchase)...a very small(cheap that is!) submersable water-pump. And the two containers(one the top-level biofilter holding the collected nativeplants...mosses/ferns/a few emergent shore/near shore plants). charlie guevara NJ,US

Yikes, Mintaka...don't wait for summer. Winterlife under shallow ice is easy (always be safe and know the land your hikeing on of course) to collect and transport home to your indoor study. charlie guevara fingerlakes/US
