I really appreciate the wonders that microscopes do today. Imagine, without it, we cannot see the minute structures that our naked eyes cannot see. The image shown earlier using the microscope is such a watershed figure to microscopy.

Wow 'g2b2'...it appears that bug has a full 'blood-meal' in it's gut. So we are observing some persons blood from..1800's you say?!! Great to world-wide web share microscopy in this forum, thank you for the image, thanks for the details you gave of your:camera/microscope setup, 'g2b2'.
Please share with us how you came to posses this 'permanent-fixed specimen', especially tell us why date it as:'200 years old'? The entire concept of we microscopists shareing a great preserved specimen, shareing it in this forum, IS TERRIFIC! Sort of like an informal 'microscopy bookclub'! Thanks 'g2b2', hello all in this group. My 'microscope adapter' has arrived in post from Oregon,US (Mark Simmons sells these). Now I'm setting up my microscope bench 'again'...to use this for forum posts. I just put a few starter images in the:'Macro-section' here. charlie guevara, NJ,US |
