Lovely images Mintaka, but then I always enjoy wet-mount freshwater microscopy!

The green is so relaxing in that algae 'forest' image you shared. I'm pretty sure those are diatoms arranged on the algae strands(epiphytes) , similar to orchids (sp?), or spanishmoss being 'epiphytic' in rainforest conditions.
