Hi everyone!

I'm new to microscopes but i understand the basics and i'm trying to get my brand new scope to work.

It's a trinocular except i can't see anything through the third port... unscrewing the tube and looking in i can't even see any light or any mirrors or anything to suggest that light could be going up the port.

Plus, the views through the binocular ports don't seem to be lining up. I've adjusted the interpupillary distance to the closest, most comfortable position, but each view cuts eachother in half do i'm annoyingly seeing double of everything and it's impossible to see anything clearly without closing one eye.

I'll attach pictures.. i'm a newb so am i missing something obvious? or is my scope faulty?
