We are attempting to buy micorscope - very inexperienced; would like to spend ~$3000 to observe water/soil bacteria, fungi, as well for artistic inspiration. Many images are on the net, but we haven't found many that indicate power or scope used, or method. Meiji & Accoscope are in the run - can anyone suggest or have experience as to the Meije or Accuscope? service &/or series we should consider? Also - RE: the really nice color images that Olympus exhibits - are those made with high end scopes? Thanks!
