I am late to the game but a stage that clamps on the side or re drilling a Leitz stage to fit it that has controls you like will work. Such as
this one form Ed Nightingale.
Clamp on stages may be problem as that stage looks rather thick so check before you buy. I buy all these I can on eBay for under $25 dollars and that isn't many. I have seen them sell for $10 to $200. If you need one quick for a job you are doing the $200 is a good deal if save enough time. If the lay around like a few of mine have in the past $20 isn't too good a deal. I don't have any extra right now. I only find one ever one or two year at a price I am willing to give if I don't have need for one.
You can also dill and tap holes or have them done for the stage you find. I know several people that do that kind of work. I expect it would cost $30 to $60 dollars depending on if the bill in 1/2 or full hour increments. I know one fellow that may have a lower hourly rate. That is contingent on the state coming of with no trouble. If the screws are frozen or ruined that would add to the cost if you don't deal with it first and it can easily be a harder job than drilling and tapping the stage. It would cost less for you to take off the stage and just send it to them if the scope doesn't need service and most do.
